For the cast of Syfy’s Dark Matter, one of the show’s unique challenges is playing characters who can’t remember their own pasts — and thus may have entirely different identities and personalities lurking below the surface. In the case of Anthony Lemke, who portrays Three, a moment of truth could be just around the corner.

During a cast interview with EW at Comic-Con on Thursday, Lemke teased some big revelations in the second season, which is currently airing.

“Let’s just say it happens, something like that,” he said. “We keep it up, the same sort of rhythm that we had in season 1, where you do learn a little about everyone’s back story. We discover more as actors, and you will as an audience as well. And the next episode, tomorrow night’s, will be about Three.”

But even though Lemke and his costars are a step ahead of viewers, there’s still plenty they don’t know.

“I don’t think any of us fully know our back stories,” said Jodelle Ferland, who plays Five.

“It continues to kind of unravel as we get the scripts and we explore things,” added Melissa O’Neil (Two). “But we only get the scripts a week at a time, and it’s still a surprise.”
