Jennifer Hudson and Adam Sandler are pairing up for the comedian’s next Netflix project. Hudson will play Sandler’s love interest in the romantic comedy Sandy Wexler, it was announced Wednesday.

The Oscar- and Grammy-winner will be showing off her vocal chops as a singer named Courtney Clarke. Sandler will play the title character of Sandy Wexler, a talent manager with a group of eccentric clients who discovers Clarke and falls for her. The movie will be set in Los Angeles during the 1990s.

Sandy Wexler will be the third film Sandler will produce for Netflix, after signing a deal to make four films for the streaming service. Sandler’s first two Netflix films were The Ridiculous Six and The Do-Over.

Sandy Wexler is scheduled to debut in 2017.
