Callie’s new senior project just took a turn for the awkward on The Fosters.

In the exclusive clip above, Callie (Maia Mitchell) and AJ (Tom Williamson) visit one of the foster homes where Callie once lived so she can take photos for her project. On the outside, the house looks nice, with a well-manicured lawn and stone-paved driveway. But, when AJ asks about the story behind this particular home, Callie is blunt.

“Not a happy one,” she says. “I was raped by my foster brother.”

Just then, a Cadillac SUV pulls up and a blonde woman steps out. “I’d like to talk to you,” she says sweetly. “Please, come inside.”

What the woman — who, presumably, is Liam’s mom — will have to say, we can only guess, but seeing as Liam is currently in prison for identity theft thanks, in some part, to Callie, the conversation probably won’t be as friendly as this clip makes it seem.

The Fosters airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
