One of the most fun things about late-night talk shows is how random the celebrity interviews can get, to the point that sometimes it’s difficult to tell the difference between fact and fiction. Jimmy Fallon purposely blurred that line even further on Tuesday night when he invited guest Melissa McCarthy to a game of Word Sneak.

The two contestants were given words that they had to sneak into the conversation. Fallon’s first word was Pikachu, and he didn’t even have to reference Pokemon Go to use it. McCarthy didn’t seem to know what Pikachu was anyway. She thought it was a kind of dog, which led the whole conversation down a canine-related path. First it was driving dogs to college in a van (for “Honda Prelude”), then it was keeping them regular (“Fiber One”). Then it was Fallon’s wild night at Hooters with a bunch of random celebrities (“Pat Sajak”). Both players got through all their cards, and incorporated them smoothly into an utterly random conversation.
