Seating charts at weddings are kind of like tables in the high school cafeteria — you’ve got the wedding party at that table, college friends at the one by the dance floor, all your cousins sitting together, and so on. In Table 19, Anna Kendrick isn’t seated at any of those. Her card places her at the “losers” table at the back of the party.

Kendrick plays Eloise, an ex-maid of honor relieved of her duties after being dumped by the best man (via text message, no less). She decides to attend the wedding anyway, which is how she ends up at the table with other courtesy invites played by Lisa Kudrow, Craig Robinson, June Squibb, and more.

Eloise bonds with her fellow misfit wedding guests, and might even find a new love interest while the bride and groom say, “I do.”

Directed by Jeffrey Blitz and written by Jay and Mark Duplass, Table 19 is scheduled to hit theaters on Jan. 20, 2017. Watch the trailer above and see the poster below.
