Ringo Starr: New tour dates announced by former Beatles member
Ringo Starr gave fans a great present for his birthday: brand new tour dates.
The former Beatles drummer, freshly turned 76, on announced the fall shows Thursday during his #PeaceAndLove Celebration, which featured the likes of David Lynch, Edgar Winter, and more.
At the celebration, Dave Stewart and Jon Stevens performed the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band track “With A Little Help From My Friends,” along with “No No Song.” Rock band Alberta Cross entertained with takes of “It Don’t Come Easy and “You Can’t Stop Lightening,” and indie rockers Vandaveer performed “Don’t Pass Me By” and “Photograph.”
Starr also announced fall shows in the Western United States, Japan, and South Korea, featuring the longest-tenured roster of All Starrs ever (Steve Lukather, Gregg Rolie, Todd Rundgren, Richard Page, Warren Hamm and Gregg Bissonnette).
