Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hit theaters nearly three years after its predecessor, Man of Steel, so fans could be forgiven for forgetting some details in the interim — which is perhaps why Batman v Superman literally opened right in the middle of the climactic Battle of Metropolis from Man of Steel.

In the 2016 release, the battle was shown from the perspective of Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) on the ground trying to help his employees, with Superman (Henry Cavill) and General Zod (Michael Shannon) little more than distant dots in the sky, fighting it out as buildings crumble around them.

In case you forgot what things looked like from Superman’s perspective, YouTube user The Film Guy put together a supercut of the two battles. Here, you can move between Wayne watching the battle on the ground and Superman flying Lois Lane (Amy Adams) to safety in the sky.
