Were you a fan of The Goonies or Close Encounters of the Third Kind or It? If so, you’re going to love Netflix’s summer series Stranger Things. EW has the exclusive new trailer and poster for the show, debuting July 15 on the streaming service.

Created by twins The Duffer Brothers (Hidden) and produced by Shawn Levy (This Is Where I Leave You), Things is a loving homage to those classics but also something wholly original and special.

Three friends (Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin) find themselves on an adventure when their pal Will (Noah Schnapp) vanishes. Also complicating things is the arrival of a mysterious young girl named Eleven (Millie Brown), who exhibits special powers. And then there’s the weird government facility on the outskirts of this small Indiana town…

All 8 episodes of Stranger Things, which also features Winona Ryder and David Harbour, will stream July 15 on Netflix.
