Robert Epps returns.

Tyrese Gibson has announced that he will be reprising his role as the military sergeant in the upcoming fifth Transformers movie. The actor posted several photos with director Michael Bay to tease his return for Transformers: The Last Knight, adding, “Summer 2017 just got even more interesting.”

Gibson previously appeared as Epps in the first three Transformers films, sitting out 2014’s Age of Extinction.

Production is already underway on The Last Knight, with Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel both returning to the franchise. Anthony Hopkins and newcomer Isabela Moner have also both joined the cast, and Bay has been teasing details about The Last Knight for weeks, introducing a tiny new character named Squeeks and announcing that he’s added an unwanted shelter dog to the film.
