Jay Leno: Car crashes with comedian inside on Jay Leno's Garage
Jay Leno can cross two things off his bucket list: riding up on two wheels inside the 2,500-horsepower Hemi Under Glass, and also crashing it.
“This is bucket list for me,” the comedian says in a preview for the upcoming premiere of Jay Leno’s Garage, where Leno sits in the passenger seat while renowned drag racer Bob Riggle pilots the vehicle at the Irwindale Speedway in California. That was before the accident though.
Both men were unharmed, but the same can’t be said for the car, which rolled over multiple times. In the clip, Leno cracks a joke when the paramedic comes to inspect them. “That was certainly exciting,” he tells the camera after exiting the Hemi. He adds, “Stuff to do when you’re 80, we’ll call this.”
Jay Leno’s Garage premieres Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on CNBC. Watch video of the crash in the video above.
