Lindsay Lohan might be poised to make her music comeback — emphasis on “might.”
The actress recently participated in a live chat with fellow Mean Girls alum costar Rajiv Surendra, who played math-rap wiz Kevin Gnapoor, where she revealed that she “[has to] record another album for Universal Motown.”
“And I will,” she added.
But the timeline for this new album seems to be up in the air. “My sister is signed with EMI and she is recording a record, and out of respect for her and her true career choice, which is all she wants to do is make music,” she said, referring to her younger sister Ali. “Her voice is like Etta James meets Adele. I want to respect her in that lane.”
Lohan has not released music since her 2008 single “Bossy,” though she made a cameo appearance on Duran Duran’s “Danceophobia” last year. Her two full-length albums, Speak and A Little More Personal (Raw), came out in 2004 and 2005, respectively. Here’s hoping someday we’ll hear more from our favorite teenage drama queen.
