The cast of YouTube Red‘s new series Escape the Night is in for a scare.

Created by Joey Graceffa, Escape the Night follows 10 YouTube stars — including iJustine, Lele Pons and GloZell — who are invited to attend a 1920s themed murder-mystery party at a haunted mansion. In this ghostly EW exclusive clip, above, the cast performs a séance to find out the next clue in the game. Everyone becomes thoroughly freaked out when “Sarah the creepy maid,” as iJustine calls her, actually becomes possessed during the ritual and tells them about a tragic murder that happened on the property.

“The séance scene was a very eerie and real experience,” Graceffa, who also stars in the show, tells EW. “This was my first séance, and as scary as it was at the time, it was definitely an entertaining experience, and it’s a pivotal moment in the narrative. At this point in the series the cast was all still getting to know each other and the house rules, and we were all a bit shocked when it worked.”

This week, Graceffa will be bringing his show to VidCon in Anaheim, California. There will be a special fan screening and Q&A with Graceffa and special guests on Thursday at 2 p.m. in Hall C.

Escape the Night also stars Shane Dawson, Eva Gutowski, Andrea Brooks, Timothy DeLaGhetto, Matt Haag, Oli White, and Sierra Furtado. New episodes of Escape the Night debut every Wednedsay starting June 22 on YouTube Red.
