Portishead take their dark cover of the ABBA’s classic “SOS” to another level. The British band debued a video to accompany the previously released track, featured in the upcoming film High Rise, starring Tom Hiddleston. But the group gave the song new meaning with a decidedly political message.

The video itself is simplistic enough: Group member Beth Gibbons looks down as the camera slowly approaches her but at the end, Gibbons reaches out to the viewer as a quote from Jo Cox appears on the screen. “We have far more in common than which divides us,” the message reads. Cox, a member of the British Parliament, was killed last week for her political views ahead of Great Britain’s Brexit vote Thursday.
