The team behind New York City’s Governors Ball Music Festival announced a fall festival on Tuesday. Featuring Kanye West, the Weeknd, Chance the Rapper, Kygo, the 1975, and more, the event, called the Meadows Music and Arts Festival will take place October 1 and 2 of this year at Citi Field.

Grimes, Savages, Chromeo, and Bryson Tiller will also join, while Twin Shadow is slated to perform Purple Rain as a tribute to Prince. For those who have bought Gov Ball tickets in the past, pre-sale begins Wednesday, June 22 at 11am EST. General on sale begins Thursday, June 23 at 11am EST. Tickets can be purchased on the event’s website.

Kanye West was slated to headline the final night of Governors Ball earlier this month, but that day was cancelled due to weather.

Last year, when AEG, the production powerhouse behind the annual Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio, CA., was rumored to be bringing a new festival to New York City, to take place in the same season as Gov Ball, the team urged the city to block the event, and encouraged them to explore fall options. AEG did not comply, booking the same site on Randall’s Island for late July, and it seems like Founders Entertainment is now taking their own advice.
