According to Tony Hale, Disney’s Frozen is quite a dark film. “It is fantastic and the music is fantastic,” the Veep star and tells Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. “But as a father, let me just break this down for you.”

It’s not the fact that Elsa has magical ice powers. It’s not, as some like One Million Moms pointed out, that the film celebrates the bonds of sisterhood instead of a princess charming. “Elsa zaps her sister into a coma. That’s a lot,” Hale, who has a 10-year-old daughter, explains, also pointing to how “Elsa secludes herself in a room for almost two decades, doesn’t see anybody. Awful.”

He adds, “Oh, and I didn’t mention, the parents have died in a boating accident. As a father, I don’t know, it’s just a lot to watch.”
