It’s been two years since Tiësto nabbed a Grammy for his drop-heavy remix of John Legend’s “All Of Me,” and now the Dutch producer has tapped the crooner for a dancey new single, “Summer Nights.”

The track tones down Tiësto’s usually high-thrill beats, opting for slow, sweeping verses and a subtle electro pulse. Tiësto says the stylistic sidestep was intentional, as he wanted to craft a song representative of both musicians’ sounds.

“We wanted to make a record that mixed the energy from my club tracks with [Legend’s] amazing soulful take on pop music and I’m really happy with the result,” Tiësto said in a release. “This record is definitely a bit of a musical departure for me but it was important to us that the end result really emphasize John’s funky soul vibe.”

Tiësto last released 2014’s A Town Called Paradise, his fifth studio album. Legend is currently helming WGN America’s period drama Underground as an executive producer, and plans to release his fifth record later this year.
