Hozier is tapping into his wild side.

The Irish singer-songwriter penned a new original song for the upcoming Legend of Tarzan, the first track he’s written for a movie. “Better Love” takes inspiration from the film’s central love story between Tarzan and Jane, and the newly released music video weaves together intimate shots of Hozier and footage from the film.

Alexander Skarsgård stars in The Legend of Tarzan as the king of the jungle himself, now living as the aristocratic Lord Greystoke in Victorian London. When he’s invited back to Africa for a diplomatic visit, he and his wife Jane (Margot Robbie) uncover a colonialist plot engineered by the malicious Belgian captain Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz).

“Better Love” is available now as a single on iTunes, Spotify, and Google Play, and it’ll also be released as part of the Legend of Tarzan soundtrack, featuring the film’s score, composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams.

The Legend of Tarzan swings into theaters on July 1.
