Christina Grimmie has been laid to rest in her home state of New Jersey, just under a week after her shocking death.

The Thursday funeral was a private, “intimate gathering for her family and close friends,” a source previously told PEOPLE. The service was paid for by Adam Levine, her coach on the Voice, Grimmie’s brother Marcus previously shared.

Fans who wish to pay their respects to the late 22-year-old can attend a public memorial at the Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford, New Jersey, on Friday, from 3-8 p.m. EST. A memorial service will begin at 8 p.m.

Grimmie’s burial follows a candlelight vigil in Evesham Township on Monday, where hundreds of mourners gathered. “She loved this town, she loved this state, she loved singing, she loved the Lord and she loved me and she was my baby sister,” Marcus said.

The YouTube star was fatally shot last Friday by an obsessed fan after her performance with band Before You Exit at Orlando’s Plaza Live. Kevin James Loibl then killed himself.

After her death, Marcus took to Facebook to honor his sister, writing, “She was a partner in life. A superstar. A goofball. Introverted. And a friend to everyone. Genuinely.”

He continued, “But above all … she was my baby sister. She loved the Lord and her family and was always there for me and I honestly don’t know what ill do without her.”
