And just like that, John Stamos is returning to Fox.

The star of last season’s short-lived Grandfathered has joined the cast of Scream Queens season 2.

The second edition of Scream Queens shifts from the first season’s college campus setting and into an all-new hospital location, “where some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation,” according to Fox. Stamos will play Dr. Brock Holt, “the hospital’s brilliant, but secretive, head surgeon.”

The casting will reunite the Fuller House actor with executive producer Ryan Murphy — Stamos previously had guest starring roles on Murphy’s Glee and The New Normal.

As previously announced, first season regulars Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell and Niecy Nash are all back to reprise their characters. Scream Queens returns to Fox on Tuesday, Sept. 20.
