Is that Faith with Wash, or am I only dreaming?
Whedonverse alums Eliza Dushku and Alan Tudyk are reuniting for Con Man, Tudyk’s crowd-funded online series.
Executive Producer PJ Haarsma took to Twitter to tease a photo of the Dollhouse duo back in action:
“Aw, you make me blush,” Dushku wrote in her own tweet.
After a request from Fillion to see a little less Tudyk, Haarsma shared another shot. “Here I moved him to the side. Better?” the producer wrote.
Tudyk, whom fans fell in love with as Serenity pilot Hoban Washburne (or “Wash” to us Browncoats) in Joss Whedon’s short-lived space-Western Firefly, used his experience attending sci-fi conventions as a point of inspiration for Con Man. The Vimeo series follows Wray Nerely (Tudyk), who played a pilot on a fictional sci-fi series (Spectrum) that was beloved but canceled. Tudyk’s former Firefly costar Nathan Fillion plays Jack Moore, Nerely’s best friend, who played the captain on the show and went on to amazing success.
It’s unclear what role Buffy the Vampire Slayer alumna Dushku will play in the webseries.
Season 2 of Con Man premieres this fall on Comic-Con HQ.
