Josh Segarra is moving from the streets of Chicago to the courtrooms of Star City.

The former recurring Chicago P.D. actor is joining Arrow season 5 as a series regular, EW confirmed. Segarra will play shiny new district attorney Adrian Chase, who will assist newly appointed Mayor Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). While Adrian tries to fight crime through bureaucracy and due process, he has a masked identity, too: the aptly named Vigilante.

Chase’s Vigilante made his DC Comics debut in 1983 as a D.A. who circumvents the legal system to find his own justice after his family is slain by the mob.

Segarra appeared in nine Chicago P.D. episodes as Justin, the son of Intelligence Unit Squad Commander Hank Voight. He was killed in May’s season 3 finale, “Start Digging.” Segarra also popped up in last summer’s Amy Schumer comedy, Trainwreck.

Arrow recurring actor Echo Kellum got bumped up to series regular status for season 5.
