Organizers for the Austin Television Festival canceled a panel Sunday on television violence in the wake of a mass shooting at an Orlando, Florida gay nightclub that left at least 50 dead and 53 injured.

“Out of respect for the victims of the tragedy in Orlando last night, we won’t be holding the Viewer Discretion Advised panel today,” the festival wrote on Twitter. “While it is a very important conversation to have, today does not feel like the time to have it. Viewer Discretion Advised panel canceled.”

The panel, called Viewer Discretion Advised, was expected to include Kurt Sutter (Sons of Anarchy), Jack Amiel (The Knick), Brian Michael Bendis (Powers), and Noah Hawley (Fargo), among others.

Early Sunday morning, a man armed with an assault rifle and handgun entered Orlando gay club Pulse and killed at least 50 people. In addition to ATX, the Tony Awards, which are being held Sunday evening, released a statement about the murders, dedicating the ceremony to the victims of the attack.
