Madonna may have wrapped her Rebel Heart world tour in March, but she made a special visit to The Tonight Show Thursday to give a stripped-down performance of one of her hits, “Borderline.”

Sporting a tie, fingerless gloves, and a jeweled belt with dangling crosses, Madonna sang a slower rendition of the track, which was an early single off her 1983 self-titled debut album. Madonna swayed and snapped along to the more laid-back rhythm (the studio version has a more energetic dance-pop style). At the end of the performance, Madonna struck a pose on the floor.

During her visit to The Tonight Show, Madonna got to meet President Obama, saying that for once, she was left speechless.
