Star Wars director Rian Johnson has announced that principle photography on Episode VIII is almost over by posting an image to his Tumblr account.

The film, which is due in theaters in December 2017, has been shooting at Pinewood Studios outside of London for the past several months.

Today, Johnson posted a picture of what appears to be the rough-hewn cloak Luke Skywalker was wearing at the end of The Force Awakens. “In the home stretch,” reads his caption.

We’ve seen that garment before, but the location of the cloak is interesting — it looks to be a cave of some sort, or maybe a finely carved piece of production design on a soundstage somewhere.
