Jennifer Weiner, best-selling author and one of the Twitterverse’s shrewdest The Bachelor / The Bachelorette commentators, will release a book of essays this fall. Titled Hungry Heart: Adventures in Life, Love, and Writing, this collection is Weiner’s first foray into nonfiction — and as she discusses in this exclusive video for, above, it’s a bit daunting to lay it all out there, from sex to body image to money.

“Everyone’s going to read this, and everyone’s going to know that it’s true,” she says in the video. “Which is slightly terrifying for me, because when you write fiction, you can just be like, ‘That never happened. I made that up. I don’t do those things.’ But with this it’s like, ‘I had sex with my boyfriend when I was 16 on the pull-out couch’ — Sorry, Mom!”

EW is excited to jointly reveal the cover of Hungry Heart alongside PEOPLE. Check it out below, and be sure to pick up your copy on October 11, 2016.
