What to Watch Tuesday: Keep it 'Casual'
Plus: 'The Bachelorette' vs. the carnivore
Your daily guide to the most interesting stuff happening on TV and streaming. All times Eastern.
PICK OF THE NIGHT
Jason Reitman’s wonderful dark comedy returns for its second season stronger than ever, with its characters’ relationships more complicated than ever. And as a treat, you can complement your weekly Casual intake with recaps from the cast and crew on EW.com, starting this week with Reitman himself talking about the two-hour premiere and, um, “waffle porn.”
Fox, 8 p.m.
Gordon Ramsay has got a real weird one on his hands tonight: A West Virginia bed and breakfast owner can’t stop buying baskets, so she hoards them — and other bizarre personal items — all over her business. Oh, and the food on the menu is cooked months in advance, frozen, and then heated up in a room with four microwaves. The situation is so dire, it requires two episodes (the second airs next week).
ABC, 8 p.m.
The second half of this week’s special two-night Bachelorette extravaganza asks the question: What will become of Chad? And more importantly, if he gets kicked off, will he be able to take his meat to go?
I LOVE THE ‘90s
Late Show With Stephen Colbert
CBS, 11:30 p.m.
Fans of the decade before the one before this one, rejoice! Colbert brings on such ‘90s heroes as Ethan Hawke (Reality Bites, Gattaca) and Freddie Prinze Jr. (She’s All That, I Know What You Did Last Summer).
