Derek Theler talks date with Lauren Conrad on The Hills

Much like his character Danny Wheeler on Freeform’s Baby Daddy, Derek Theler has always been smooth with the ladies. And when Theler stopped by the EW office, he revealed those skills were put to use in his very first “acting” gig: a date with Lauren Conrad.

As he explains in the video above, Theler met Conrad on his first day in Los Angeles and immediately went on a date with her as The Hills cameras rolled.
