In the words of Queen B, “Who run the world? Girls.”

That’s the idea behind New York City’s first all-female festival, The Other Festival, which will bring together female creators, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists in music, art, film, technology, and more, on June 11.

The one-day event, at Manhattan’s Spring Studios, will feature special live performances (by singers such as Justine Skye and Yuna), and panels and workshops designed to provide guests with the tools and inspiration to bring their ideas to life.

The festival’s lineup includes stars like, Daredevil actress Rosario Dawson, model Naomi Campbell, musician Sophie Beem, who is signed to Beyoncé’s label, and Girls Who Code founder Reshma Saujani.

“I’m proud that New York City will serve as the launching ground for The Other Festival,” said Deputy Mayor Alicia Glen in a statement. “Women in business are the backbone of our economy. We want to make New York City a place to celebrate and support women. Through The Other Festival we are giving the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders the tools they need to succeed.”
