The third and final day of Governors Ball has been canceled due to the threat of “severe weather and a high likelihood of lightning in the area,” the New York festival announced Sunday.

“The safety of fans, artists, and crew always comes first,” they said in a statement on their website. “We are just as devastated as you.”

Sunday’s lineup included a headlining set by Kanye West and a surprise Prophets of Rage performance. Chvrches, Vic Mensa, Vince Staples, Death Cab for Cutie, and Eagles of Death Metal, among others, were also set to perform.

All festival-goers who purchased single-day Sunday tickets will receive a full refund, and those who bought 3-day passes will receive partial refunds.

Governors Ball also encountered weather-related issues in 2013, when heavy rain caused the festival to shut down early Friday evening. It reopened the next day as planned.
