Turns out Jill (Jill Kargman) isn’t the only awkward mom on the Upper East Side. When a blizzard traps Jill and her family inside their apartment, she’s forced to spend the day with Brad (John Hodgman) and Meredith (Drew Barrymore), a mom of three who is even nuttier than Jill herself.

“She is a mom and she is odd, and by the end of the episode, she will be out,” Barrymore jokes of her character. “[Brad and Meredith] are just weirdos, honestly.”

High-society high jinks aside, Barrymore — who last appeared on the small screen in HBO’s Grey Gardens — says guest-starring alongside her sister-in-law Kargman was “a blast.” (The episode was filmed after Barrymore announced her split from husband Will Kopelman, Kargman’s brother.)

“I had a really hard time keeping a straight face,” Barrymore tells EW of working with Kargman. “We are a family, but it doesn’t have to be heavy.”

Odd Mom Out returns June 20 at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. Barrymore’s episode airs July 25.
