Tom Hanks, Miley Cyrus, Drake among Maya & Marty guest stars

Maya Rudolph and Martin Short are headlining the variety series Maya & Marty, and they’ll be seeking laughs with songs, sketches, and yes, plenty of celebrity guests.

The first episode, which airs May 31 at 10 p.m ET/PT, will feature some highly recognizable names: Tom Hanks, Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon, and Larry David.

Fresh off his stint hosting Saturday Night Live, Drake will appear in one of the five other episodes this season.

Maya & Marty, of course, boasts a strong SNL connection. Rudolph and Short are both veterans of the late-night sketch series, as is their costar in every episode, Kenan Thompson. In addition, SNL overlord Lorne Michael is an executive producer of the show.

Rudolph and Short performed together at the SNL 40 anniversary special, and Rudolph starred in her own variety special on NBC two years ago.
