Writer-director Mickey Keating’s new horror-thriller Carnage Park once again proves the famous movie maxim that all you really need to make a film is a girl and a gun. In this instance, the “girl” is actress Ashley Bell’s Vivian, the hostage of two bank-robbers, portrayed by James Landry Hébert and Michael Villar. As for the gun, that, unfortunately for pretty much everyone involved, is a sniper rifle belonging to a desert-dwelling maniac played by the always watchable Pat Healy (Cheap Thrills).

Carnage Park also stars Alan Ruck, Bob Bancroft, Darby Stanchfield, Graham Skipper, and Larry Fessenden. The film will be released in theaters and on VOD, July 1.
