Shonda Rhimes could soon be headed to theaters.

The mastermind behind hit TV shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal is in talks with Fox 2000 to produce a movie about the Dare Divas, a group of Detroit women who, after experiencing loss, have dedicated their lives to travel and extreme experiences like skydiving and white water rafting. Rhimes would produce the film alongside Shondaland’s Betsy Beers.

Sheri Hunter formed the Dare Divas after she lost her husband and decided to process her grief by living life to the fullest and embarking on a trip around the world with friends. Since then, the group of divas have devoted themselves to pursuing adventure and encouraging other women to take risks.

While Rhimes is best known for her television work, she’s no stranger to the box office. She wrote the 2002 Britney Spears movie Crossroads and the 2004 sequel The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement.
