If the goal was to perform a series’ best number, Nyle DiMarco succeeded.

For his final dance of the 2016 season of Dancing with the Stars, the deaf model and winner of America’s Next Top Model brought the house down with a freestyle number with partner Peta Murgatroyd.

His performance to “The Sound of Silence” not only earned a perfect 30 from the judges but an unprecedented endorsement from Carrie-Ann Inaba.

“I have to say, in 22 seasons, that’s the best dance I’ve ever seen,” Inaba said.

DiMarco, along with Ginger Zee and Paige VanZant, will vie for the mirror ball Tuesday on the finale of DWTS.
