Meghan Trainor said Thank You to some lucky fans in New York City by serenading them with some songs from her latest album as part of the Vevo Presents series, and now EW has an exclusive look at the event.
Performing her current hit “No,” as well as the yet-to-be-released singles “Just a Friend To You” and “Hopeless Romantic,” Trainor got some back-up singer assistance from the fans, who were packed into NYC’s Avatar Studios, as she performed acoustic versions of the songs.
‘Just a Friend To You’
It’s been a big and busy month for Trainor, whose sophomore album,Thank You, hit Apple Music on May 6 and went on sale May 13. She promoted it with appearances on talk shows including The Tonight Show, where host Jimmy Fallon joined her on the stage floor for some laughs after she fell at the very end of the performance. Trainor will entertain some bigger audiences when her Untouchable tour kicks off this summer in Vancouver, Canada.
