T.I. is taking his talents out west and into the future. The Atlanta MC enlisted Dr. Dre to produce “Dope,” the first single from his new album Dime Trap.

Sampling Aaliyah’s 2001 track “Rock the Boat,” “Dope” features English singer Marsha Ambrosius on the hook praising the song title and one of Dre’s favorite musical subjects.

The accompanying music video, directed by Jessy Terrero, is set in a fantastic, distinctly 2020 version of Los Angeles. In this future, L.A. is T.I.’s town, accompanied by a pristine penthouse and a club packed with fellow rappers Big Sean, Travis Scott, Nelly, and Killer Mike.
