My Little Pony movie adds Liev Schreiber, Taye Diggs
The upcoming My Little Pony movie has added Liev Schreiber and Taye Diggs to its star-studded stable of voice actors.
Hasbro and Lionsgate have announced that Schreiber and Diggs will voice new characters in the upcoming adaptation of the hit TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Uzo Aduba, and Michael Pena are all already on board, and the actors who voice the TV show’s Mane 6 — Tara Strong, Cathy Weseluck, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain, and Ashleigh Ball — will be reprising their roles for the movie.

My Little Pony: The Movie follows the Mane 6 ponies as they’re forced to venture beyond Equestria in an effort to save their home. Friendship is Magic director Jayson Thiessen is also helming the movie, and Meghan McCarthy, another Friendship is Magic veteran, wrote the screenplay with Rita Hsiao.
My Little Pony will hit theaters on Oct. 6, 2017.
