TODAY show summer concert series announces lineup
Kick off your early-mornings with hot music: NBC’s TODAY announced the line-up for their annual summer concert series on Friday and the morning show has tapped some of the biggest stars from pop, country and hip-hop to perform this season.
Puff Daddy is reuniting with his Family for the show’s inaugural 2016 performance. The Grammy-winning rapper will team with members of his Bad Boy Entertainment crew for an early-morning performance that celebrates two decades of hits.
Also appearing this season: Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas’ new band DNCE, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Fifth Harmony, and Alicia Keys, who will close out the concert series on Sept. 2. Other highlights include the Band Perry performing at the XXXI Olympic Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro.
To give fans even more access to their favorite artists, TODAY is teaming up with Entertainment Weekly for a backstage pass to the “Citi Concert Series on TODAY” with exclusive artist Q&A’s in the magazine and videos from the plaza on EW.com.
