Supernatural appoints new showrunners for season 12
Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb will succeed Jeremy Carver
Supernatural has lined up new showrunners for season 12.
EW can confirm that Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb will oversee the CW fantasy series next season as current showrunner Jeremy Carver steps down to focus his attention on the CW thriller Frequency, which was just ordered to series.
Singer has been with the show since its debut season, serving as an executive producer, director, and writer. Dabb came aboard in the fourth season and has worked as a writer, story editor, and co-executive producer. Carver wrote for Supernatural on seasons 3 through 5 and returned as a showrunner in the eighth season.
Supernatural‘s renewal in March positioned it to be the longest-running show in CW and WB history. The season 11 finale airs May 25.
TVLine first reported the new showrunners.
Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki star as the Winchester brothers, hellbent on battling the paranormal forces of evil.
