Nick Jonas is literally bringing the house down in the music video for his new single “Chainsaw.” The soulful breakup track features Jonas singing about destroying the house that he once shared with an ex-lover, and the video translates those lyrics directly.

Victoria’s Secret Angel Sara Sampaio takes on the role of Jonas’ estranged girlfriend in the video, which follows Jonas as he smashes plates and gets drunk while Sampaio watches on in despair. These scenes are interspersed with moments of sensuality between the two that prove the passion is still alive, and the video culminates in Jonas emotionally belting the chorus outside of the house as it burns.

“This was the first video we shot for the album and the closest to my heart,” Jonas tweeted, referring to the upcoming Last Year Was Complicated, out June 10. On Instagram, the singer thanked director Luke Monaghan and Sampaio, who he called “fearless in the storytelling for this video.”
