Johnny Depp played Donald Trump in a spoof movie for Funny or Die, but the actor is not laughing about what the Republican candidate might mean for America were he to win the presidency.

“If Trump is elected President of the United States, in a historical way it’s exciting,” Depp said during an interview with Channel 5 News in London. “Because we will see the actual last President of the United States. It just won’t work after that.”

Asked if he won’t be thrilled if Trump wins, Depp added, “I don’t believe in that stuff.”

In February, Depp starred in Donald Trump’s The Art of the Deal, impersonating the candidate and former reality TV host. “I approached Donald Trump as what you kind of see in him when you really watch him,” Depp said in March about playing the candidate. “There’s a pretense. There’s something created about him in the sense of bullydom. But what he is, I believe, is a brat.”
