Alec Baldwin dings Donald Trump
Add Alec Baldwin to the list of celebrities who have some thoughts about Donald Trump.
Baldwin appeared on Thursday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show and joked about Trump’s appearance without mentioning the Republican candidate by name.
“I think two things. I think beyond having someone become the president, to have them elected president, who is going to do the greatest amount of good for the most people. That’s my criteria. Who’s the person who’s going to do the most good for the most people, and not be owned by special interests to a degree?” Baldwin said when asked by host Ellen DeGeneres about the election. “And the second thing, I think, is we don’t really want a president who looks like he’s been dipped in movie popcorn butter.”
Baldwin has spoken out against Trump throughout the last year. In an interview with Howard Stern last summer, Baldwin said if Trump were to get the GOP nomination, it would be “exactly what we deserve right now with the system we have.”
“I would love to see Trump be the Republican nominee, and run for president,” Baldwin said, noting that he’s a “huge campaign finance reform person.”
