Pearl Jam treated a 10-year-old fan to an onstage jam sesh at a recent Quebec City concert.

According to ABC News, Noah Keeley’s parents sent the band footage of the young fan playing Pearl Jam songs ahead of the May 5 show. When the family drove up from Maine for the performance, Eddie Vedder invited Keeley up to play “Sad,” an outtake from the group’s 2000 record Binaural. Pearl Jam then dedicated a cover of Cheap Trick’s 1978 hit “Surrender” to Keeley’s parents.
