Life at Litchfield has become even crazier and more complicated

At the end of season 3, affairs at Litchfield Penitentiary was decidedly topsy turvy — and by the looks of a brand-new trailer for Orange Is the New Black’s fourth season, things have gotten progressively worse for its female inmates.

How so? Well, the big set up this season is that Litchfield’s ditched its old ways and has become a for-profit prison. And there’s more: a crop of new CO’s, 100 new inmates, and a bunch of brand-new rules have surfaced, all of which seem to add significant strain to a prison population at the brink of bubbling over with tension.

With Piper (Taylor Schilling) expressing some serious discontent, a pained Tiffany (Taryn Manning), Red (Kate Mulgrew) bent on revenge, Joe (Sick Sandow)’s mounting frustration as management, and a hefty dose of race and religious-based conflict, it appears that the prison is ready to burst at the seams. (Seriously, the trailer even features a SWAT team drive-by and a glimpse of Uzo Aduba’s Crazy Eyes lying injured in a hospital bed.)

Despite the added drama, it seems the inmates haven’t lost their sense of humor: Cindy (Adrienne C. Moore) drops some pretty politically aware observations, while Daya (Dascha Polanco) is seen giving side-eye as only she can. And one of the best scenes? Well, that’d go to Taystee (Danielle Brooks), who seems to be settling into her new role as a prison secretary with some pretty amusing moments.

Orange Is the New Black season 4 hits Netflix June 17.
