Swiss Army Man red band trailer: Daniel Radcliffe has a very different kind of magic wand
Thanks to The Walking Dead and other zombie extravaganzas we’ve grown accustomed to the idea of reanimated corpses being a bit bitey. But in the new, Sundance-screened magical realism-infused drama Swiss Army Man, Daniel Radcliffe’s undead character Manny is downright helpful to his new friend Hank, played by Paul Dano. How helpful? Well, as the film’s new red band trailer shows, Manny has a penis which effectively acts as a compass, capable of showing Hank the way home.
“Yep, you read that right” has become a familiar refrain when it comes to this film.
Written and directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (a.k.a. “Daniels”) and costarring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Swiss Army Man opens in New York and Los Angeles on June 24 and expands across the country, July 1.
