Wednesday night’s Carpool Karaoke started off as a Hellagood ride and turned into a Monster one.

Gwen Stefani joined James Corden for his commute to work in the latest installment of The Late Late Show viral bit, and she charmingly revisited No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak” with him, as well as such solo hits as “The Sweet Escape” (tutoring Corden on the tongue-twisting “sour milk” part), “Used to Love You,” and “Rich Girl.” Stefani also convincingly acted out a series of emojis Corden tossed her way (and he even taught her what eggplant means).

And then came a car-nundrum: They needed two more passengers to use the HOV 4 carpool lane, as it requires four people in a car. So, Corden rang up a guy who has “nothing to do,” George Clooney, who then called a fellow Oscar winner and his costar in the big-screen drama Money Monster: Julia Roberts. The four of them then tore through “Hollaback Girl” and Queen’s “We Are the Champions.”

Instead of just going on and on, and on and on, we suggest you go along for this star-stuffed ride and watch the video.
