Chris Miller is having a blast this May 4th… or, a blaster, we should say. The director behind the upcoming Han Solo spinoff film shared a photo of the famous space smuggler’s blaster in celebration of Star Wars Day.

“Can’t wait to get ‘shooting’!,” Miller captioned the photo, ahead of the appropriate “May the 4th be with you” hashtag. The glimpse at the prop serves as the first look into the Han Solo project for fans.

Miller and frequent collaborator Phil Lord announced last year that they are working on a standalone film within the Star Wars universe that focuses on Han Solo’s youth. “We promise to take risks, to give the audience a fresh experience, and we pledge ourselves to be faithful stewards of these characters who mean so much to us,” the pair said in a statement when the announcement was made.

Lord and Miller are known for their successful comedic collaborations on films like The Lego Movie and 22 Jump Street and TV shows like The Last Man on Earth and Clone High, so many are probably expecting the pair to draw on comedic elements in their Han Solo film.
