Following the barrage of space age ensembles littering the Met Gala’s red carpet Monday night, Lady Gaga and Mark Ronson felt the futuristic theme needed a throwback shake up. The pair closed out the annual event with a raw rendition of Talking Heads’ 1983 entry, “Burning Down the House.”

For the afterparty performance, Gaga exchanged her laser-cut Versace one-piece for a simple tee and lax rock ‘n’ roll blazer, riffing on a matching black-and-white guitar. Ronson kicked off the cover with a heavily distorted take on the song’s opening notes.
