Wes Scantlin, the frontman and sole remaining original member of rock band Puddle of Mudd, was arrested early Sunday morning at a gig in Hermosa Beach, California. EW has confirmed that Scantlin was taken into custody and that bail was set at $250,000.
According to TMZ, Scantlin exited the stage after Puddle of Mudd’s set and was promptly taken into custody by bail bondsmen and police at Saint Rocke, the venue where the band was performing. The arrest appears to be linked to Scantlin’s recent decision to skip a court hearing concerning a case where he allegedly vandalized a house — the same one he’d lost to foreclosure in 2015 — earlier this year.
