Know thine enemy, and the enemy in the new Call of Duty video game is the Settlement Defense Front. Activision released two new teasers revealing the threat that’s not so shadowy anymore, as well as Lt. Reyes, an ally in the war to come.

“Make no mistake, we will rip you from the history books,” an unidentified man from the villainous organization says. “Every last trace of you, gone. You will know loss. We will be the architects of your pain. We will build monuments to your destruction. The whole world will bear witness to this, our ascension. We will blot out the skies, we will bury you in darkness. Know this, and know us. We are your enemy. We are the Settlement Defense Front.”

The second video, which dropped a day later, featured Lt. Reyes interrupting the same transmission with a message. “Set Def are everywhere, but we’ve still got a chance.” Following the link provided will bring fans to a Facebook messenger chat with the CODMessenger page where Reyes provides special instructions.

“This is Lt. Reyes, Naval Special Operations under Adm. Raines. I’ve got Settlement Defense Front forces closing in on my position. I’m going to need your help to get through this,” he writes. “Welcome aboard. Now listen up: I need your help to strike back before The Front wipes us all to hell! They’ve scrambled the access code to the SATO defense grid. We can’t fight back until we get that code.”

The message goes no to state that the code consists of 12 letters beginning with the letter G. According to Reyes’ instructions, “Keyboard jockeys from The Front scrambled it and salted it on the battlefield. The Front’s flagship is hunting it. I have the ‘G’ at the start but I need the other 11. They’ll be near that ship.”

Users on a Reddit thread are actively trying to work out the code, but once it’s solved, Reyes asks to insert it in the Facebook message.
